From Rock Bottom to Purpose: My Story for God’s Glory

Hey, I’m Carson Young — founder & CEO of UNFORSAKEN Apparel and UNFORSAKEN University, and someone whose life is a testimony to the faithfulness of God.

There was a time not long ago when I felt completely lost. I had just been kicked out of college and my parents’ house, unsure of what to do next and wrestling with the weight of failure. I was in a dark season — feeling stuck, alone, and directionless.

But in that lowest moment, God met me. He didn’t just pull me out of the pit — He used it to plant a vision. A vision for something far bigger than myself.

With no money, no inventory, and no paid ads, I launched a clothing brand rooted in a message I had to live out myself: God has never left you. He has never forsaken you. What started as an idea quickly became a movement. Within a year, the brand reached over 400,000 people and generated more than $300,000 in revenue — all through faith, consistency, and a mission that matters.

Three months in, I was able to quit my job and go all-in. Not because I had it all figured out, but because I trusted God to lead. Every step of the journey has been proof that when you surrender your plans to the Lord, He’ll take you places you never thought possible.

Today, UNFORSAKEN Apparel exists not just to sell clothing, but to inspire faith — in the gym, in the struggle, and in everyday life. And now through UNFORSAKEN University, I’m helping others do the same: build brands with purpose, from the ground up.

This brand isn’t about me — it’s about showing the world what God can do with a willing heart. If He can transform my story, He can do the same for you.
